half-day trip to Tuscany

Can anyone recommend a good guide for a half-day trip to Tuscany from Florence. With service to be picked up at our hotel? Looking for a reasonable price and a flexible schedule. Also, wouldn't mind sharing ride with another couple or family.

You may want to check out accidentaltourist.com

We loved the cooking class, but they have other options.

Thanks, I checked it out and it sounds really nice. Unfortunately the day we have available is a Saturday and the winery is not open on the weekends. Otherwise the 1/2 day wine tour would be perfect.

Hi SB,

You could take the SITA bus from Florence to Siena and back for about 15E pp.

Although the winery is not open, you still travel to a beautiful location (different from the winery) for a wine tasting. On our cooking class tour, we visited the winery, then on to the wine tasting, then on to cooking and a late lunch. The winery was our least favorite part (but still enjoyable) so I don't think it's a big deal. You will not be disappointed with this tour company, IMHO. Good luck!
