Haarlem area house rental - agency recommendation?

We are considering a family bike trip in the countryside around Haarlem. It seems like a very good home base. Has anyone used a reliable agency to rent a house?

I don't know any, but there is a Center Parcs park in Zandvoort (on the coast near Haarlem); you can rent a cottage. It's nice for kids, there's lots to do, including an indoor tropical pool.

I'd look at booking.com to start with. I tend to use B&B in Netherlands and there are a couple that come up if you google. They often have sister companies.

Tulips, what is the best word in Dutch for Francewithfive to search google maps with? Gite is no use.

There is the obvious

If you search for 'vakantiehuis huren in Haarlem' this one comes up first;

Something like Centerparcs may be nicer for the kids. These parks usually have excellent facilities for sports, swimming. These places are very popular here with families who have kids. You have your own cottage, and there are plenty of other kids around.

This is another one, similar to Centerparks;

not sure I would recommend buitenhuizen. the nice thing is of course to be inside a city, not in a compound outside it.

or, how about this?

on the river Spaarne, and has a motor launch, so you can add boating to your activities. Reasonable price too.

If you look at google maps, you'll see an area between Haarlem and the sea called Nationaal Park Zuid Kennemerland: wonderful for day trips.
