I wouldn't care if there IS a city bike program in Edinburgh. I can think of no place I'd less like.y ride a bike . . . Other than maybe Rome.

Driving is difficult, biking would be insane IMO

In fact you would if you consider the many steep hills, busy roads and the cobbled streets everywhere - really not bike-friendly at all.

Yeah I only recently realised how hilly it is...cancel that! I'll stick to walking!

Hi again everyone, I'm wondering what it's like to take the train here and there? Is it a matter of showing up a few minutes early, buying a ticket and popping on?

The commuter trains here in Toronto are fairly easy to deal with so I'm wondering if it's similar in Scotland.

Just to update - I did the 3-day tour with Timberbush and loved it. It wasn't too rushed at all, and I saw a ton of amazing sights.
