guided tour Jewish Quarter Barcelon

Has anyone taken a guided tour of this area? I have sent emails to Urban Culture Tours, who advertise a tour, but they have never responded.

Two companies that do that are: Urban cultours and Heritage tours. I have never used either of these so cannot make a recommendation.

with Dominique Blinder at Urbancultours. I have lost my correspondence with her, but I think it was about$40-$60. Insist on a group tour instead of a private tour. It is cheaper.

another note, if you go. I bought lovely inexpensive dreidles at the synagogue. They are nice looking, but the best part is how well they spin.

You should take a day trip to Girona and visit The Call, the old Jewish quarter. It was one of the most important centers of the Kaballah in the 13th century. There are many trains from Barcelona every day and it is about 60 miles away. N.B. the streets are steep in many areas.
