Guidebook for Cinque Terre hikes??

Can anyone recommend a good guidebook that also provides detailed information on the various hikes around Cinque Terre? We will be going this October. Thanks!

I have seen one that looked good and included the CT area - Lonely Planet, it was called either "Hiking in Italy" or "Walking in Italy". You could check on www.lonelyplanet.com

I'm not sure that there are "various hikes around Cinque Terre". There's the basic walking trail that connects the five towns and it's a beauty!

Stayed in Levanto and our hotel had booklets on CT hikes with maps, times, etc. You will probably find a booklet there. We did have to purchase it though.

Just follow the horde, single file, no pushing.

Most of the walks are fairly easy except for the walk from Monterosso to Vernazza. You must be in good shape to make this walk. It will take you two hour minimum and take you up many hills and many steps. The view alone is more than worth the effort!
