Belgian chocolate fans

I recently returned from a European trip that included Belgium and my first taste of the wonderful chocolate. Well, when I got back home to Denver, I found a chocolate shop in Castle Rock called Belvedere. And it is the real thing. The guy is from Brugge and imports chocolate blocks then makes the chocolate goodies here. Good bye Godiva.

Where in Castle Rock? My wife and I stop there about once a month to browse the outlet stores on our way to Colorado Springs.

Go into town of Castle Rock. 350 A Perry St. One block east of the main street near the fire house. The seashell pralines are wonderful.

PS. The shop isn't opened until 11 during the week. I don't know about weekends. It's listed under Candy in the yellow pages. The guy, Johann, sells his candy to two other shops, one in Boulder and one in Cherry Creek. The candy is slightly less in Castle Rock since this is where they make it.

Where's the shop in Cherry Creek? I'll have to stop off to get some when I'm in the neighborhood filling up on "Andre's" Swiss pastries--also "the real thing".

I don't have the exact address. But, it is about 250 Milwaukee. I made myself hungry talking about chocolate and stopped there today, but the Cherry Creek owners are on vacation until the 15th so it was closed.
And I love Andre's.

There is an Andre's in Colorado? The one in Kansas City is wonderful!
