You will love the Gritti. That is where we always stay and love the elegance and intimacy of the hotel. The location is also ideal and you can walk around the entire city of Venice easily- or jump on a water bus or taxi.

We had a great room at the Excelsior with a large balcony overlooking the Duomo and Fiesole. Preferred the view over the rooftops rather than overlooking the Arno.
