Greve-in-Chianti & Radda

Does anyone know how often the SITA bus run between Greve-in-Chianti and Florence and how long the journey takes?

Furthermore, is there a similar service from Radda?

Out of the two, which is your favourite?

Thanks for your input!

Swag - Greve-Florence is just under an hour. Radda-Florence is about 1.5 hrs.

It's the same service.

Here's the timetable:

Hope this helps ...

Greve is the more interesting centre - - note that the SITA buses have different timetables for different days, and they stop running quite early in the evening.

Greve has more resturants, wine bars, shops and other places to visit, browse, eat , drink etc. Radda has only a handfull of these.

However I think Radda is much prettier and quianter then Greve, Greve is much newer /modern looking, has some newer commercial areas in & around it.. Radda sits on a high ridge line , Greve in the valley, Radda is old stone & brick, Greve has some of both plus lots of stucco and other newer materials.

There are some very beautiful vistas from Radda. Each has their own ambience. More importanly , there very
close to each other , about 1/2 hour or less if I remember correctly.
Both are surronded by beautiful areas of Chianti.
