Greetings from Monica- On my cruise
 

Well crap, I wrote an email to my family and friends and thought I copied it so I could paste here.

So this will be short.

I spent 4 nights in Rome and had a great time. Did so much walking that I need new feet. Visited the important sites: Colosseum, Forum, got to visit the Domus Aurea, which recently opened.

The scavi excavations tour was fabulous! Highly recommended. Visit the Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel in the afternoon - very glad to have gone there.

Enjoyed the Campo dei Fiori and its morning food market. The trevi and other fountains were lovely.

Great meals, especially at Gioia Mia. Armandos was good.

The cruise begain on Saturday and we visited Mykonos yesterday. Today it's a beautiful sunny 72-74 in Rhodes. Tomorrow we're off to Santorini.

Hi Monica! It sounds like you are having a great time! I've made note of the Rome restaurant, might be taking my mother to Rome next spring.
