Greenland - Ilulissat or Ammassalik/Kulusuk

I am planning an excursion to Greenland from Iceland this summer. I only have a few days. Where should I go - South or East?

Hi Kaduty,
I recommend East Greenland. You can get there easily from Iceland - that takes to you to Kulusuk but I would helicopter immediately to Tasiilaq where the hiking is just spectacular. Stay at the Red House, visit the stamp factory! Its' really the most beautiful place. If you can afford to go even further north to Ittorqqortoormit - its worth it. You can also do what they call an "Inuit Holiday," and stay with Greenlanders who live hunting lifestyles. I used to live in Greenland so let me know if you have any questions!
