Greek wines

Can you recommend white wines to drink in Greece. I like California chardonnay and remember trying restina years ago and hating it. If you've been to Greece and can recommend something I'd appreciate it.

I can't recommend a particular brand, but only a proportion of Greek white is made as retsina. This should be clearly marked and easy to avoid, other Greek whites shouldn't have the pine resin taste. I doubt you'll find anything quite like a Californian chardonnay but you might have some fun trying.

The other popular one that is exported quite a bit is Demestica

I also liked the Demestica (Domestica?) wine in Greece - rather light and not expensive. You should also try the ouzo at least once if you haven't already.
