Greek items- Santorini

We just returned from a 12 day Med Cruise. I purchased 2 bags of these wonderful nuts drenched in honey and sesame seeds. Does anyone know where one could purchase these on line? I see you can buy greek wine, but I cannot find anything on the Nuts. They are wonderful and I so wish I would have purchased more bags. Darn!

I'd bet that Titan would have them....it is a large Greek supermarket in a Greek neighborhood in New York City--call them and ask because the website lists only a fraction of the items on offer:

I love Titan - great place to shop if you can get to Astoria, Queens, NYC. The cheese and olive selection is wonderful - and prices are very modest.

Thanks--brotherlylove looks like close only these are peanuts from santorini. I need to befriend someone who is going there(Santorini) and ask them to purchase for me. the greek store looks great but I don't live to near this place and no it is not on there web site at all. Thanks.

Here are the sesame honey-glazed peanuts. FYI-Santorini does not produce peanuts.

Diann; You need to phone them and ask them to mail order. I said above that only a fraction of the items in the store are on their site.

brotherylylove2004, this looks like it might be them. Certainly is what they are--interesting that they are not made there but other greek islands also sold them. I believe it may have been Rhodes? I am not sure or it was Mykino's. Are you from the city of brotherly love by chance? if so you must be feeling pretty happy today with your football team? If not it was still a great game.
ekscruncy, yes I know you stated that I might have to call them. Either way I don't really feel it is a greek item at this point in time. not really---- there is an address on the bag but it is all in Greek. Many thanks to all. they are addicting-once you start eating them you cannot stop!!

Chances are good that the peanuts are actually imported from outside Greece and then processed with the honey/sesame coating.

Diana, I have a daughter that is going to the Greek Islands in a few week. She going to buy Sesame Honey Almonds. They are so good. Do you still want some? If so let me know how many.

The original posting is from 2010.

You can buy them at Trader Joe's.

It is called pasteli by the way....

There are a few different pastellis, with almonds, just with sesame, with peanuts etc :)
