Greek islands: Please help me fill 3 nights between Paros & Crete

My latest thinking is exactly what you are suggesting:
Leave Paros on the 1st 'extra' day and head to Santorini. Enjoy afternoon and sunset and night views. Spend 2nd 'extra' day doing whatever - shopping, water, winery, nothing - and then leave on 3rd 'extra day' to Crete.
Spend that night maybe in Iraklion and then head to our condo the next day. So, reading your comments makes me think this could be the plan!
