Greek Islands Oct.18-25 Will I need a bathing suit?

Is it usually too cool for swimming and sun-tanning by this time? Are hotel pools still open? I'll be on Santorini and Mykonos.

Yes, it will still be great swimming and tanning weather. I was in Santorini last year in October and it was still sunny and very warm with great breezes.

You never NEED a bathing suit on the Greek islands!
For us greeks October is a cold month for summer holidays, especially for swimming! But for foreigners who are used to cold seas they seem to be ok that period! So, i suggest you to definitely take your bathing suit, because the weather might be marvellous!!! :-)

Sounds good. The lake I was swimming in last week was 21C, a little cooler than I like, not unbearable. Is the water rough in October? I've only been seasick once, but it's such an awful feeling that I'm a bit worried about the ferry rides.
