Greece weather in October?
 

We will be traveling to Greece in October and I should appreciate any advice on weather and appropriate clothing at that time. We will be on mainland and the Greek Isles.

Speaking for Crete, you can expect warm and sunny during the day- shorts and tee shirts. It will, however, be much cooler at night. Long trousers needed. I can't remember needing a sweater but I'd definitely pack one, if I were you.

Yes, I agree with Sheila

Here on Mykonos in October it is nice during the hours of sunlight but in evening it is colder. Few people eat outside.

Also, it is more windier and ferries may be cancelled.

Most resturants will be open to end of month but they do not serve all food from menus as their food reserves for the summer is almost finished.
