Greece next Tuesday
 

We are leaving for Greece next week and do not have any hotels reserved. Someone gave us free tickets and we have no choice, right? But I do worry that we will have to sleep in the park on the bench. Because we willbve there only for 5 days I think we will go visit Peloponnese only and do not go this time to any islands. Is it April high tourist season or we may find some decent places to stay in?

I don't think you will have any trouble at all. Each time I've been to Greece it has been in August and September and I have never had a reservation except in Athens. I would just take a tour book with me that lists hotels in the peloponnese, that way you can call some places if you get stuck for a room. Have fun!

From my knowledge high season doesn't start until May. You should be fine!

Many cities are indeed crowded THIS WEEK because of the Orthodox Easter. Next week you shouldn´t have any problems at all.

You should not have any problems finding hotels during this time. Also, Greek Orthodox Easter was not this week as posted by a reader. Eastern Orthodox Easter is May 5th.
