Greece Land Tours

Jump to last reply

I have done a ton of research to find a company that provides guided tours of the 8 or 9 top attractions starting in Athens. Not looking for island tours as we will spend a week biking by boat several islands. There are, literally, dozens if not hundreds, of tour companies, many of whom have negative reviews on the web. I am always suspicious when a company has a lot of 5* ratings along with a lot of 1* ratings. Complaints center around being sold on tours people thought were included in their hotel, transportation and site packages. Other complaints centered around poorly located hotels in out of the way places, inflexible tour guides, poor food, etc. I would be most grateful if anyone has had a really good experience with a guided tour company. We are hikers and bikers so would be appreciative of tour companies that keep the itinerary active as opposed to tours oriented to non-mobile folks. thanks so much.
Diane
