Greece help please
Hi there - It has been a long while since I last posted here. Headed to Greece mid-September to take in some sun, play in the water and eat great food. I am already planning on visiting Mykonos, Crete, Naxos and Santorini and would like to make another 3 day stop at another island - any recommendations? Any hotel recommendations for the above mentioned locales? Thanks!

It will help if you'll share more relevant details that can affect answers, so we won't have to guess: • Total length of trip?? If you want 1 more island besides those 4, you should have 3 weeks -- every time you change isles it takes at LEAST 1/2 a day often more • What sequence do you plan (so we can see what else would fit in) • How many are you? midlife or retirees? • Budget range per room, keeping in mind that Santorini & Mykonos will b e at least 30% more than the other 2 -- it wastes our time and yours, if we recommend budget places when you want deluxe.

Instead of another island, add Napflion on the Peloponnesean Peninsula, a two hour drive from Athens.

If you haven't already seen it, you might find some useful information in my trip report, which includes comments on hotels and restaurants.

We caught the ferry from Santorini to Folegandros which we loved. The hotel we stayed at Polikandia Folegandros - Hotel was about 5 mins walk to the main town. If you haven't already booked accommodation you may have trouble getting in. I hope not but I think September would be busy. Also check ferry routes if you haven't already. Some islands are not as easy to reach as you'd think. You'll need to plan the order according to where the ferries go, unless you want to go back to Athens. Sorry if you already know all this.

It's long! :( But it is searchable, if you keep scrolling down, and the itinerary posted early on should give you a sense of where to begin looking. I hope you find it worth your while!
