QUESTION I like the idea of visiting the canal and ancient Corinth do you think it is not WORTH??

I had 4 full days in Athens in May; I was on the move from early morning until late night; I did not see everything I would have liked to see. I skipped ancient Corinth, but spent an hour or so around Acrocorinth. I did cross the Corinthian Canal, and because I have a fascination with engineering marvels, I'm glad I saw it -- but I, personally, would not have given up time in Athens for either.

If you haven’t already seen it, you might look at my trip report:

You can’t see Athens in a day.

From what I heard, Greece has the best beaches in Europe. It's the second country with the most Blue Flag Beaches (after Spain). So I'm not sure where you got that idea that Greece is not famous for its beaches.
