hellenic seaways says the itinerary is not open yet, when trying to book tickets. Is Seajets a good company/site to book from?

I wouldn't take Sea Jets from Piraeus to Santorini. Superjet is a very small catamaran, prone to delays, and with a stomach churning ride in rough seas. Sea Jets snag a lot of early planners who later regret not waiting to book one of the better ferries. There is no need to book this far in advance — if you can't book tickets on the Hellenic Seaways highspeed yet, neither can anyone else, so you have plenty of time to reserve seats.

Neither Blue Star Delos nor Highspeed 6 are likely to be full that day anyway. Personally I prefer the Blue Stars, and BS Delos is one of the newest ferries in the Greek fleet. It may take a few hours longer to reach Santorini, but you can stand on the outside deck to take in the views when the ship docks at islands en route, and when it enters the Santorini caldera. With sea jets and the highspeed you are confined to the inside cabin. :-)

Ok great. thanks for your help. I'll wait for Hellenic Seaways to release tickets. i think i would still prefer the faster way just so we get to the island earlier, but will keep blue star in mind.
