Greece & Bari, Italy
Hello Fodorites - need to please both families and must plan a trip to both Greece and Italy next year (08') Having visited both before without child, I need alternate routes this time. The ferry is NOT an option. Would like your opinions on airlines that were reliable near/on-peak season (June-July), rates, flight times, etc. My agenda for now is JFK- Athens (10 days touring around) - Bari (7days) - JFK. I have my flight from JFK-Athens-Rome-JFK. Need suggestions on airlines and routes in between. Would love to hear from those who are doing it or who have done it this summer! Thanks!

So where do you actually want to go?
"Athens - Rome, Corfu & Rome, Corfu and Bari" doesn't seem to make much sense as an itinerary. A ferry is the obvious option if you need to get from Corfu to Bari.

Ok, here's my ideal itinerary: JFK to Athens. IN Athens 3 days and on to Corfu by plane or ferry (any thoughts??), Corfu to Bari, Italy (plane or ferry??), Bari to Rome, Rome to JFK. My flights from JFK-Athens and Rome-JFK are complete. I need thoughts on the in-between stuff!

You can fly Athens-Corfu and Bari-Rome, but I would rather doubt that you will find, even in high season, flights from Corfu to Bari, so thst would have to be by ferry.
For flights, you can check out www.whichbudget.com.
