Great Spain travelogue
I've found a long, detailed, comprehensive travelogue by an american young couple that covers all the main spanish cities usually discussed on this board.

It has lots of no-nonsense information on hotels -all talked about in this forum-, monuments, schedules, transportation options -very detailed-, etc. and it is recently done so the info is pretty up to date.

Above all, it has loads of the nicest pictures I've seen in this type of travelogue so far.

Copy and paste this on your browser:
www.personal.psu.edu/staff/j/x/jxf17

I'm sure it will be helpful to a lot of you planning upcoming trips. I'm saving it, too!

I cannot seem to access the site at Pennstate. What is the name of the person and are they a student or faculty?
|
Duke, the web page takes quite awhile to load because of the graphics and music, be patient and try again.

I spent quite a bit of time looking at this last night, and it really does have some beautiful photos. As someone currently planning a Spain trip, I really enjoyed a preview of what I'll be seeing when I get there. Thank you for sharing Olga! (And how did you find this, by the way?)

Duke: If you just highlight the url here, copy (Cntrl C)then paste (Cntrl V) it directly into your internet address window, you should "land" directly at the site.

Duke,

I'm sorry, I found this website accidentally as a link in another website and I myself tried to access it through the Pennstate website so I wouldn't have to use the copying and pasting method, but I was unable to.

It seems that their names are Carmen and James Frost and it looks as if one or both of them are staff at Pennstate, but I didn't find that last name on the list. Maybe it's her maiden name or something.
Anyway, I feel like I'm snooping when I do it and it makes me feel bad...

These are great photos. I am especially impressed with their photos of the Mesquita in Cordoba. Mine are so dark and dreary compared to theirs.

But I have to point this out. Did anyone notice that in almost all of their pictures, they are both in shorts and tennis shoes! I chuckled when I thought of how they would be torn to shreds on this board based on their attire.
