Great Rome Restaurant??

Hi, Can anyone recommend a great restaurant in Rome where the locals go? Thank you.

I'm not sure about locals, but we loved these 2:

PIERLUIGI (in Piazza Ricci) for excellent seafood
and
CASINA VALADIER (in Borgese Gardens) for an amazing terrace/view and wonderful food

Thanks, Dina. We'll certainly try these.

Do you speak or can you read Italian? If not, this will limit you a bit in being able to go where "locals" go. It will not mean you won't have a choice of very good restaurants, but you have to understand that not speaking/understanding Italian or being able to read a menu will limit you in some respects.

I know some say Piperno is touristy, but on the occasions when I visited (usually in the off-season, mid-Winter), it seemed to be filled with locals.
