Graudenz Poland (or Germany?)
My mother-in-law came to the United States as a young girl. She was born and lived in a town called Graudenz (not sure of the spelling) that was in Poland or Germany, depending on the outcome of skirmishes there. <BR>We would like to locate this town and visit it if possible. Does anyone know anything about it? I have tried to locate it on modern maps with no success. She was born in 1880. If anyone knows about this town, can you tell us where the nearest airport would be. Thank you in advance -

It maybe Grudziadz (which sounds like Graudenz) fairly large town located in central Poland close to Bydgoszcz and Torun (I think at some point (WWII) it was consider German and maybe it was called Graudenz... (Graudenz is definitely a German name)
