Grape Harvest Festival in Montmartre

Someone mentioned in another post that Paris was celebrating the Nuit Blanche October 2-3. If anyone is in Paris on October 2, you can also celebrate the annual Grape Harvest Festival in Montmartre, where they honor the city's wine crop of the year. I was there years and years ago and remember it was a very merry occasion.

I think I read the Grape Harvest Festival is the following weekend (October 9-10) in Montmarte. Does anyone know for certain?(We'll be there then and have planned for dinner at La Mascotte during the week but might like to explore the festival).

Message: Also on Saturday Oct 2:

Montmartre Grape Harvest Festival - The parade is in the afternoon, festivities continue into the evening.

Montmartre celebrates its unusual status as the only wine-growing area of Paris and remembers its rural past with a colourful parade at harvest time.
Vineyards were widespread on Montmartre in the 10th century and were first mentioned in 390 BC. The wines produced had an unusual reputation, claiming to "make you jump like a goat."

Over 2000 vines, planted in 1929, thrive in the enclosure between rue Saint-Vincent and rue des Saules. Since 1937, the area has celebrated its wine-growing capabilities with a celebration of their grape. A traditional parade of local wine-buffs leaves the place Jules-Joffrin who follow the blue and yellow banner of the République de Montmartre, often accompanied by wine-growers from elsewhere in France and Europe. In the evening there is a variety show, a banquet, a ball as well as plenty of wine-tasting of course!

There is conflicting information on various websites. Whatsonwhen says it's the 2nd of October (http://www.whatsonwhen.com/scripts/q...arch+=+Search+), but the Paris Tourist Office says it's on the 9th (http://www.paris-touristoffice.com/c...11572087246842)

This is going to confuse a lot of winos!

Just to add to the confusion. Below seems to be the official website of the festival:
