Hi Donnae,

I know that there are several posts on this board about the hotel, but the one where I recently reviewed our stay is under the header Paris Hotels. If it doesn't come up when you do a search, let me know and I'll cut and paste it for you.

When you walk out the front door turn left and then left again and you will find a lovely little square with several restaurants and maybe something else going on. Keep walking to the Rue de Revoli (sp?) and across then turn left for I seem to remember 1/2 a block and there is a great little bakery where we had breakfast every morning, cafe and mini quiche(sp?)

We were only bothered by street noise when garbage was picked up at 6 or 7 in the morning.

Unless things have changed dramatically you've made a good choice.
Rick

I really enjoyed my stay at Jeanne D'Arc. I wanted to stay there again on my last trip, yet didn't call in for reservations soon enough - they tend to be full several months in advance.

Very simple, charming, inexpensive, and a can't be beatr location in the 4th. Excellent restaurant just down on the left at Auberge Jarente, and Place St. Catherine is right around the corner.

Place des Vosges is just a few blocks away, as is the Musee Picasso. I just love this neighborhood!

Enjoy!
