Granada to Sevilla by bus
 

Will be taking a 10:00 ASA bus from Granada to Seville next month. Questions
1) Does the bus have a toilet on board? if not, are there stops which will allow for a toilet break?
2) Can I bring a regular sized backpack on board or does it have to go below?

It depends on the type of bus, most have toilets. Supra and Premium definitely do. If they don't, the driver is supposed to make accommodations for stops, although I suspect just will allow people to go during one of the regular stops in various cities along the way. It's only a 3.5 hour trip.

I don't know what you consider a regular sized backpack, but I doubt it if you mean one of those humongous things that covers your entire back. If it's too big, no, it will have to go below. People generally only take on board small daypacks or small totebags, it is what is considered "hand luggage" like on a plane, but not as big as a 22 inch suitcase.

1-It is only a 3hour trip.
2-What size is regular? does it have a frame?
What is the worry about putting it hold?

I don't think that it is a Supra or Premium as the ticket was only about 7E a few months ago. It was impossible to but the ticket direct so I bought it through Trainline. Had I known about different types of busses, I would have chosen the Supra or Premium. One of the challenges for me in getting "older" is needing to use the loo frequently.

The backpack is a little larger than what I consider a daypack. It's the type most school kids use for books. I have some very important papers and my mothers remains that I need to bring to Denmark and would like to keep them close.

If you happen to take a diuretic, just postpone taking it till your bus trip is over. Bus and train loos are not the most pleasant places !!
