We stayed a couple of nights in Bayeux and got (booked by our hotel) a small van tour of St. Lo, the Normandy beaches, the U.S. and German cemeteries, et. al., as well as an excellent WWII history lesson from our guide. The Bayeux Tapestry is quite wonderful, too.
