Pocket Streets is included in both Streets & Trips (North America) and AutoRoute (Europe). It is also sold separately.
The free European city maps are for Pocket Streets only. You can build custom cross-country route maps with either S&T or AR and download them to the PPC.

Thanks. The only downside I see is perhaps country-country planning, on either the PDA or PC as autoroute is needed?
so ss long as I'm just using European city maps on the PDA, I could buy the US version & use it for state-state trips and pocket streets for both the US and Europe?
