So I'm planning to get to Oktoberfest this fall and was thinking about this for a potential tour....Vienna, train up to Munich in time for the frat party, then Prague to recover(?), then finally to Berlin. Giving myself about 14 days there....doable?

Well, I'm sure it is doable, depending on how long it takes you to recover. At my age, I'd end up in hospital!

Definitely doable. We'll be headed to Prague after Oktoberfest to recover, too! Better get a place to stay in Munich quickly...lots of places were sold out last month when I was looking. Have fun! Maybe we'll cya there :)

ira - thanks, we've been looking at train schedules on www.raileurope.com for that, but will look at your suggestion.

jngrant28 - thanks, we're working on it this week. We're going to use http://en.venere.com/ for help, it was great for our Italy trip 2 years ago.

I'm hoping we can find rooms in Munich for our projected dates.
