Wow! I checked the web site for Bastide de Moustier, which everyone has raved about. I would love to stay there but a little too expensive for me on this trip. Maybe someday. But I enjoyed looking at the web site. Maybe I will just drop in for a meal or to visit the boutique and look at the bath products you girls seem to like.

For those of you fortunate to have a copy of that October 1989 Gourmet, there are two recipes from the Restaurant Les Santons, one of which is <i>Mille-Feuilles de Lisette aux Oignons Confits</i> (red mullet with onion marmalade in puff pastry rounds). It's nice to know that my old magazine, at least in regard to this restaurant, is not outdated!

Try lunch at Bastide de Moustiers. It was WONDERFUL! And their terrace is really nice in good weather. Lots of cool things in the gift shop too.

lyban, we no longer buy eachother birthday and Christmas gifts so we can afford a few days at a special place.
Last year it was the Bastide de Marie, this year it will be Colombe D'Or.
