Googlemap of locations in Paris

I just finished doing the initial layout of five tours in Paris on Googlemaps. I'll be linking the associated locational MP3 files in the next week or so to the tours, which will give lots more info on each one, but for now at least new comers will have an idea on both the famous and not so famous landmarks. This was my daughter's last voice-over project before joining the Army, so it is kind of fun for me in several ways.

Good job Dave. I started a similar map but got stalled as other things cropped up ... like work! LOL

It will be a handy resource to link to in answer to questions like "I need a hotel in a safe area near all the sites...". ;^)

That's a big reason why we do these. With the locations, when I finally get the audio files uploaded, then people can listen to the stories behind each site and exacting directions on how to get from one place to another. With the MP3 files, folks can download them and have their own audio guide. It just takes me awhile to set them up properly and get them linked.

It's wonderful, daveesi. I've bookmarked it for a couple of sets of friends who are going to Paris in the next year or two and have requested help in the planning. I'll follow the developments.

Are you going to title each of the five tours, as well?

A big gift for all of us. Many thanks.

Yes, each tour has its own title. My daughter wrote the script. I'll add the titles for each one today, I forgot to do that. Thanks
