Good travel videos?
 

Hi there, I was trying to find some good videos from the library as we are trying to make a decision on where to go for a summer trip. Most were long documentarys, and I'm looking for brief, promotional type videos that highlight the must see areas of a city. Any tips? Thanks in advance!

IF you're talking about a trip to Europe, you can't beat the Rick Steve's videos.

Nowadays, there is another choice that can beat Rick Steves at his own game. Rudy Maxa has the PBS series "Smart Travels" and does (IMO) a better job in many cases than Rick. He also has a series of videos; I think the website is www.smarttravels.com.

Check out PBS.org shop, they also have another new DVD/VHS travel guide series in addition the Rick Steves one.
