Thought all along we were flying into Pisa airport but I looked at the tickets last night and we are actually flying into Florence's airport. Are there good train connections? What about cabs? The guidebooks I have are kind of vague. Thanks!

You can get a cab right outside the airport and take it to the train station (about 15 euro).

It's about a 15-minute cab ride from the airport to the train station. If you're traveling light, you can also catch the number 62 ATAF bus.

swalter, you should check again and make sure you're flying to Florence, Italy, and not Florence, South Carolina.
