Janisj: I wasn't looking for a tour group for two people. I was hoping to find something that uses a minibus kind of vehicle: perhaps a group of 10 or 12.
Thanks for ideas-- am reviewing (now that our power is back on!) Does anyone know of any reliable transfer services from Monte Carlo to Avignon or Aix (or would that be astronomically expensive?) Thanks! |

Of course. I was talking about a small group as well. >>Haven't any specific knowledge of driver guides in France, but in the UK that would be cheaper than a mid to high-ish end small group tour for two.<< What I meant was a driver guide could be cheaper than paying for two people on a small group tour. Not that the group would be two people. |
Got it, janisj-- thanks!

In Aix, we stayed at Aqua Bella and loved it.
(http://www.aquabella.fr/english2005/infos_legales.html ) Although we trained and bussed, the hotel did have a "deal" with van tours that actually picked up at the hotel. The company was Rendez-Vous Provence. We took a one the Luberon (Bonnieux, Roussillion, Lourmarin) and another to Cassiss and the calanques cruise. Hope this helps. |
