Good hotel near Heathrow Airport
I would like to spend the night very close
to Heathrow Airport to catch an early morning flight. Can someone suggest a
reasonably priced hotel near Heathrow?
Thanks!

I just did a text search here for Heathrow Hotels and found a wealth of information. I'm sure you will find something suitable.

Airport hotels are never reasonable in my estimation. That said the absolute most convenient hotel is the Hilton, particularly if you are leaving from Term. 4. It's attached to Term 4 by a covered walkway, you can't get more convenient then that. Sometimes they have special rates, but even if they don't for sheer convenience we've stayed there. You can even take your luggage trolley through the walkway to the hotel entrance as there is a place to park them there.

Hi,

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn (about 5 minutes from the airport). It is fine.
I actually got a great deal (70 pounds for a double) by booking one of their specials on the Internet. At least check it out.

OK, maybe I'm just a sucker for getting all I can get from a vacation; but if I were spending the night near Heathrow, I'd stay in the village of Windsor and at least get a glimpse of the big castle. It's a nice village, right on the Thames, and pleasant to just walk around. Hotel rates are reasonable, and the taxi fare to Heathrow isn't much. It will take a taxi about 10-15 minutes to get you to your terminal from Windsor.

We've booked a room at the St. Giles for Aug. - www.stgiles.com. It looks fine, has specials that can get you a room for as low as 49 pounds and you can get there by bus.
