Good hotel in Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic - Hotel Alchymy any good?

We are going to Cesky Krumlov and are looking to book a hotel. Any suggestions/reviews? We're thinking of a newly renovated hotel.... Hotel Alchymy; has anyone been there? Thanks in advance for any help!

We stayed at the Hotel Zlaty Andel (Golden Angel) in Cesky Krumlov in August, and we loved it!!! It is right on the Main Square. There were 4 of us & we had a 2-room suite. The rooms were clean & spacious & we had 2 bathrooms. The hot & cold breakfast buffet was delicious & filling. I highly recomment Zlaty Andel.

Also a fan of Zloty Andel. We liked our room very much and you can't get more central.

We stayed at the Hotel Rose (I believe Ruze in Check ). This upscale hotel is a converted Jesuit monastery. Very interesting, well run and good food. Most of the rooms have nice views of either the city or the Moldau river. Short walk into the center of town.

We enjoyed the Hotel Konvice. Go to Day Six of my trip report (below) and see what I said about the hotel and town. There is a picture if the castle that was taken from our balcony. Loved CK!!

Just chiming in on this rather late. I also give my vote to Hotel Zlaty Andel. Great central location, very good breakfast buffet and reasonable rates.

it may not be your style, but "the travelers hostle" in the center of town has a really nice appt. at the top that you can stay in. it is really well done. you have a kitchen nice bath and a loft. i was living on the cheep so me and my friends shared it with some other travelers we met but even by yourself it would be cheeper then a hotel.
