Good driving roads in Europe?

What are some good driving roads in Europe, i.e. with beautiful landscapes and well maintained quality roads? Moreover, car fanatics will understand what I mean.

The Corniches in France, Tuscany, Scotland.

I've never seen a road in Europe that wasn't well maintained.

Hmmm. The Furka pass in Switzland, but actually, I love any of the Swiss roads and highways-- most beautifully maintained, with gorgeous scenery!

Thank you for bringing that beautiful gift with your question. It reminded me of some of my drives.

I nominate the Valle d'Aosta. Drive the A5 north. The Mont Blanc Tunnel will take you into France.

Another nice one is Bolzano up and over the Brenner Pass to Innsbruck.

Both are expressways. For twisting roads and a different scenery the coast road from Genova to Nice will give your steering wheel a workout.

Get Michelin maps. They indicate scenic roads.
