Hello all. My husband and I will be on the Amalfi Coast for about a week in May. We are not going to Naples. I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good guide book for the Amalfi Coast. I already have the Fodors book, but I would like another one and have noticed that there aren't many published (or so it seems). I looked at the Time Out book, but it also includes Naples and doesn't seem to add much to the Fodors book. Thank you!

I am also planning a trip to Amalfi Coast for next month. I am using mainly the Cadogan Bay of Naples/Amalfi Coast guide. It's a UK publication, and I think the author is Dana Facaros. You can get it on Amazon. But it's very in depth and specialized on the region. Best that I've read yet.

I hate to keep sounding like a shill for Cadogan, but Amy says is spot on. The Eyewitness guide for this area is okay, but it is very heavily weighted toward Naples and doesn't tell you much about the Amalfi Coast.

Hi Daria. I just ordered a book by Julian Tippett. It contains walking tours, driving excursions and excursions for a picnic on the Sorrentine Peninsula. I can let you know how it is when I get it. It does not mention a section on Naples.
