I know this subject has been covered and I did look up old text. What I can not find is , do they charge their price per person? There will be 4 of us going all women can we split the price?<BR>Diane

They negotiate and they do charge one price for the ride. Simply pay and split later. Some people on this forum downgrade the experience, but I say you are in Venice and must do it once.

One word of warning that you should heed. Look up an earlier post about the canals of Venice...seems that they are now teeming with jetskis and V8 powered souped up gondolas that have been blamed for swamping many of the slower more traditional gondolas and dumping the passengers in the canals. This is very bad, since the alligators in the canals can be quite dangerous as well, not to mention the Italian sharks. BE CAREFUL!!!

Yes I saw a tourist get devoured by a large Italian crocodile just last week...and the land sharks are bar too

Diane: Have a great time. You will run into jerks anywhere you go. Luckily they do not have the nerve to sign their real names and they have probably never left town on their own so you only see them in the malls on Saturday night and never in the better places in Europe. Enjoy Venice.

Diane and Bob<BR><BR>Get a life and loosen up a bit...where is your sense of humor? These other posts, while not helpful, do a lot to lighten up things around here. No harm is meant by those little joker type posts. It is apparent that you have not yet had the "joy" of being really hammered by the many obnoxious, know it alls that hang out here and just live to find one small mistake in your question and then jump down your throat. I will take a little humor anytime over some of the really offensive posts made by these idiots. Oh, and this my real name by the way.
