Golf

Planning a golf trip (12-14 people) in November. Any suggestions re: courses, hotels, resorts, restaurants, van rentals would be appreciated.

Did you have a country in mind?

--
May be a bit chilly in November, but I'd imagine you could schedule a lovely golf holiday in Ireland or in Scotland.
OR, another country to consider (less concern re: cool temps) is Morocco! I was considering a visit to Morocco (ended up going to Budapest instead - that's another story); SO while doing my research on Morocco I was surprised to learn they have some very nice golf courses there. Apparently the King is a big golfer!

Northern Ireland, hands down. The Royal County Down is one of the top 5 courses in the World (the British Senior Open just played there). You also have the Portrush course, and countless others.

Sorry folks! Our planned destination is Portugal and/or Spain. Thanks for the advice.

Sheila Dec 17th, 2000 01:33 AM

Sorry, Ray, I can do the UK; but Portugal/Spain is off my bailiwick. It's meant to be great tho'
