Golden Pass-- Is it worth it?

Hello--

We are contemplating the Golden Pass train ride. Is it worth the time and money? Our only problem is that we are staying in Grindelwald and not sure it fits into our itinerary.
I presume you have already looked at:
http://www.mob.ch/GPS/
We have travelled Montreux to Luzern direction on a Panoramic express. While it is a scenic ride, I would be pressed to take this trip on its merit. We were travelling Lausanne to Zurich via Interlaken anyway so we happened to choose this route over a route via Bern. The places I liked was zigzagging up the hill along Lake Geneva near Montreux, seeing Lake Brienz leaving Interlaken, and small towns along the lake on the way to Luzern. Although the train ride between Interlaken and Luzern, having taken after our trip around Berner Oberland, was less exciting.
