Going to Rome in March Need Help!!!
I've never been to Rome before and I would like some experienced travelers to comment on the "must do's and see's" (i.e., incredible restaurants, lesser known "treasures"). THANKS!

Shelley, you left out one key element of your trip: How many days? That'll make a difference on the recommendations. Let us know, and I'm sure the suggestions will come fast and furious!

Regardless of how long you'll be there the top sights are the same. One can argue over which are _the_ top, but you'll find the first dozen listed at www.twenj.com/romesights. From there you can 'take' a handful of half-day (mostly) walking tours to cover them. You'll find more there, including suggestions on some of the less-well-known "treasures" at www.twenj.com/romesightsless.htm

Let us know if you have any questions.

Rome.Switzerland.Bavaria
www.twenj.com

I agree, Ed, but my schedule/itinerary would be different depending on the number of days. (By the way, Ed, many thanks to you for all your info in planning our recent trip to Italy. YOur material really helped.)
