going to paris july 27-aug2 help
 

I am going to paris first time with fiancee. We definately want to see the top 10 must sees! we are on a budget of about $100 dollars a night. I saw earlier someone mentioning new frontiers website. Any experiences with it? Seems like a good package deal condidering we would like to do the top sites. Also how hot will it be and what kind of clothing to bring. We are 29 and are from chicago. Thank you for your help.

Do you already have your flight reservations or are you looking for a complete tour.

We already have our flight. As for a hotel I do want one with a/c. I heard there were hotel and tour packages on the (newfrontier).

A very nice "quaint" hotel we've stayed at is Hotel du Levant, <BR>tel. 33 1 46 34 11 00<BR><BR>At $65 US a night for a double including breakfast it is a bargain right in the heart of Saint Michael, walking distance to Notre Dome (sp?), Saints Chappelle, and the riverboats.<BR><BR>Lily<BR>

don't know what to say except that I haven't used them, but New Frontiers is a reputable agency that's been around a long time, I don't think you need to worry if they have what you want. It's possible they could negotiate deals on hotel rooms, and their packages are priced very well.

i was the one that mentioned the new frontiers site. i used it with my friend last summer, leaving late july and coming back early august (same time as the tour de france). we are both 23 yrs old and really liked the package we got. they have a list of hotels to choose from and we really enjoyed ours, the hotel mercure ronceray. the hotel was near the opera and metro stations and included a/c. its also near a couple of american style restraunts,hard rock cafe and TGI Fridays are both next door, in case you want to eat somewhere familiar one of the meals you are there. but as for new frontiers, i found that through them you could take care of most of the things you needed, and they were well priced. i plan on going back next summer with my girlfriend. as for the weather...when i was there at that time i think it was 80's to 90's but was real humid so it felt like 100 at some times. i would suggest light clothes, shorts, and maybe jeans if you want casual. but make sure you take a light jacket along too in case it rains.
