Have you been to Istria and done all this? It looks like we'll be looking for a ferry from Pula to Rovinj to Porec and possibly to Venice/Trieste sometime end of August. Have you any words of wisdom and experience? |
I wish I had!
I'm researching for a future trip, hopefully next year, and last weekend I came across this list of Istrian tourist info websites, found them very interesting, and I just thought they might be of help to others. They are much more specific to each town and it seems better than searching through Croatian websites which cover the whole country. Have a great trip and please post a trip report when you return! |
I was hoping for all kinds of reasons to do 2 weeks in September but it looks like it will have to be one week in August so I thought Istria would be best. Apparently this part of Croatia is very Italian. Thinking of flying into Riejka on the new easyjet flight then moving on to Pula and up the coast. Flying back from either Trieste or Venice. Problem is, Venice is very hard to leave.
