Going to Andalucia and don't want to miss anything.

I will be traveling to the Andalucia region in January and need some info. My itinerary is as follows: Sevilla, Ronda, Mijas, Granada, and back to Sevilla. We will travel by car for about 8 - 9 days. What will the weather be like? And what attractions, towns, restaurant are not to be missed?
-Thank you

Suggest you get a tour catalog from Tauck Tours ... it is an excellent tour. Use it as your guide for what to see in the cities you are going to visit.

My personal advice is the following route:

Sevilla-Carmona-Ecija-Cordoba-Granada-Capileira-Salobreņa-Nerja-Malaga-Mijas-Marbella-Ronda-Grazalema-Zahara de la Sierra-Sevilla. Overnights in Sevilla,Cordoba,Granada and Ronda.
If you want more information about those places feel free to write me back .

Have a nice trip!

Unless you are planning to stay for a couple of years, you WILL miss things. Plan on what you really want to see before you go. Get several tour books, reat fodorites travel reports here and have a great time.

Climb the Giralda (sp?), the bell tower of the cathedral in Seville. The 32 ramps are worth it for the gorgeous views. I'm still kicking myself for missing the Alcazar in Seville (I was out voted for another site), I guess I'll just have to go back

Although it involves outdoor sightseeing, the Roman Ruins in Merida, close to Seville are definitely worth some time. Pedro's suggestions sounds glorious and Art have travelled extensively in Andalucia and posted very informative post. Seek them out.

Anita: If you are ever in Segovia, do not let anybody talk you out of visiting the Alcazar there. So, when are you going back to Spain?
