Going from Jules Verne to the top of the tower.

Some time ago I tagged this question onto a thread about eating at Jules Verne in the Eiffel Tower, but never got a response.<BR>I know that if you have reservations for dinner you go to a different corner of the base and go up from there, but after dinner is it possible to go from the restuarant level up the top -- or would you have to come back down to the ground again and stand in line?

If I remember correctly, you can walk up another flight, but cannot go to the top unless you pay the fee. However, the view is spectacular from that height so you might find it adequate. Marilyn

The second set of elevators leaves from that level but there's a line there as well. Not as bad, of course. In my opinion, the problem isn't getting up but getting down! No one stands in line.

Sorry to be such a ninny, but can you buy a ticket to the top from that level or would you have to prebuy the ticket from the ground ticket office before you go up to dinner? I don't mind paying to go up, just hoping not to have to go to the very bottom again and start all over --especially with the lines the way they were last time I was there.

Oh, and Marilyn, no offense, but "adequate" is never enough for me! I've been up to the top before many years ago during the day, and I just feel that once I'm there having dinner, I'll want to go all the way to the top at night as well.
