The other thread is still there. GO LANCE!!
Last year it was a time trial up the mountain that made it so dangerous to individual riders--there was no group to half way protect riders from the crazies. It was really dangerous. That is what they won't do again I believe.

No it wasn't. It is still here and Gretchen has brought it back to the top. Remember the search function doesn't work these days. But there are a ton of posts and threads sink very quickly. Searching for a particular thread takes a lot of dilligence and time as you scroll through hundreds of posts. The alternative is if you remember that you or any specific name posted on it, to click their name and shorten the search time.
