Ryanair flies from Glasgow Prestwick to Dublin. Despite what the name suggests however, it is actually quite far outside of Glasgow, so a taxi is not an option. Try this website for the bus times:
http://www.glasgowguide.co.uk/info-a...onal%20Airport Ryanair is pretty cheap and fine if you are not requiring any connecting flights, but book as soon as you possibly can, because prices can get ridiculously high for a low-cost carrier the closer you get to the travel dates. xverso xxxx |
wpmealey,
Good advice above from both Sheila & xverso. I have always been happy to recommend Ryanair & if you're lucky enough to get one of their bargain prices it will be hard to beat. If it turns out however, that the flights on your particular dates aren't such a bargain, it would be worth having a look at www.aerlingus.com Their prices can be very reasonable & you would have the advantage of being able to fly direct from Glasgow International, rather than having to trek down to Prestwick. Unlike Ryanair, Aer Lingus also offer reserved seating if that is important to you. Finally, although I haven't actually checked, I would imagine that Aer Lingus' baggage allowance will probably be more generous than Ryanair's. Jim |
u can get train from glasgow central to prestwick - it only takes 45mins and trains are every 1/2 hour most days.sometimes u get 1/2 price fare if u show ryanair booking. www.scotrail.co.uk
