Glasgow Hotels nearby Queen Street Station

Hi again!

I'm looking for an inexpensive/budget hotel or B&B in Glasgow, nearby Queen Street Station (i.e. 10-15 mins walk). My budget is $40-50USD (is this realistic?). Just looking for a simple, clean, place (breakfast not necessary)

I saw a place called Bewleys Hotel which seemed not too far. Is this place good? Any other suggestions?

Many Thanks,

I would suggest you go for the nearest Travelodge or PremierInn -both are nearby.

You are only talking 20-26 GBP. That isn't much even for a hostel.

Oops! Forgot to convert to pounds there!
You might get a room at a Travelodge for £26 if you're lucky. Some lodges have cheap rooms on certain dates.
Look at www.travelodge.co.uk

When are you traveling? In the summer the universities rent rooms that are close to that price range:

Strathclyde University, B&B, mid-June to Mid-Sept (5 minutes walk from Queen Street Station): http://www.rescat.strath.ac.uk/accommodation.html

Glasgow Caledonian University (also a 5-10 min walk from Queen Street):
Accommodation Reservation Office, Caledonian Court, Dobbies Loan, Cowcaddens, Glasgow G4 OJF
